This configuration with the 2 side tables lets you choose between two standard nightstands and one nightstand + one nightstand desk. This set up gives you both additional storage as well as a functional workspace. They can be set up with the desk on the left or right side of the bed, so you can configure the unit however works best in your space. Both side tables have built-in power bars giving you a convenient place to charge laptops and your other devices.

Common questions
For the cabinet to sit flush against the wall, you will need to remove the moldings behind the bed. However, if you prefer not to remove the moldings (and they are 0.5 inches thick or less), a spacer is included with the Alegra series of beds, allowing you to keep the moldings. The bed will sit slightly away from the wall, but it will still be securely attached to the wall.
Yes. Xtraroom Murphy beds require six attachment points to the wall, and 3 of the 6 must be into wall studs. This is required for the bed to be installed safely.
You can leave sheets and light blankets on Xtraroom Murphy beds. However, you must remove pillows, heavy blankets, and duvets before closing the cabinet.
