Yes! The dual-stage piston hydraulic lift system helps support the weight of the bed when you lift and lower it.
If you have standard baseboards, you do not need to remove them before installing the RoomBed. However if you have thick decorative baseboard moldings, they will need to be removed behind the bed for the bed to be installed correctly.
Yes. RoomBeds are designed with a patented wall mount and require six attachment points to the wall, and 3 of the 6 must be into wall studs. This is required for the safe installation of the bed.
Yes! You can leave the sheets and blankets on the bed (as long as they aren't very bulky), and the pillows can be strapped to the end of the bed to keep them off the floor.
